Marvel Legends Big Time & Future Foundation Spider-man

I recently received my Marvel Legends series 2. And it was just over a month since I received series 1. This must be the fastest release of consecutive Marvel Legends series. Here's Big Time and Future Foundation Spider-man.

I'm glad I picked up Big Time Spider-man the first time I saw it. He's proving to be a tough figure to find. I was initially going to pass on him as I didn't know what I was going to receive from my overseas orders and I didn't want to buy extras. I got Future Foundation Spider-man in my case so it all worked out.

First up is Big Time Spider-man. Like the figure. Great sculpt. Can't say I like the colours. The green puts me off. I haven't been keeping up with the comics but I think the costume is supposed to be mostly black and only the eyes and lines are green, as pictured on the back of the package. I did a quick check on wiki. This is supposed to be the costume in stealth mode. Right... maybe in a jungle. The back view isn't as bad. It kinds of remind me of Guy Gardner. Another gripe which I have is that his left hand is too big. Other than that, this is great figure.

Just to give you an idea of the size of his left hand. And also how long his fingers are. I think he would have a great career as a pianist.

Future Foundation Spider-man is the exact same figure as Big Time Spider-man except for the colours. He's painted in a clean white with black lines. The white is really clean. It says on wiki that this suit will not get dirty. Maybe thats the reason for it. I hope its true for the figure's case. Toys in white tend to yellow in the climate over here. The black areas are well painted. They're sharp with little bleeding.

Close up of the two. Future Foundation Spider-man has a menacing look about him.

The figures do not come with any BAF pieces or accessories. They have great articulation. Theres a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel. double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, chest expansion, ab crunch, waist swivel, ball hinge hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, ankle hinge and ankle pivot. They can do lots of cool poses.

Time for some pics. You can click on them to enlarge.

Some group and comparison shots. He'll fit in fine with most other figures. My personal preference would be for him to be a little shorter.

I'm not keen on collecting the Future Foundation if they're released. It'll depend on how the figures turn out. We'll see.

Spider-man is a great figure. I'm reminded from the pic below that I still need a Scarlet Spider. I wouldn't mind a new figure of that using this body. The Ben Reilly version that is. Thats all for now, thanks for viewing!
