Here's a look at the Avengers Assemble Red Skull.
He's the only villain in this first wave. You know how dangerous he is when he has his hands bound on the front in the package.
The figure uses the same body as the Captain America: The First Avenger Red Skull figure. The uniform is black on this figure which I prefer. The gloves and boots are shiny black which makes him look better. The gold for his buttons is a little splotchy. He's got a new, great looking head sculpt. He looks real mean with that angry grimace. There are chips and crack lines on his skull and there's some black shading which brings it out.
He comes with a hat and coat. The coat looks to be the same one that came with the SDCC Indiana Jones Toht figure. I have given up on getting that Indiana Jones set. I really would love to have the German Mechanic to duke it out with Indy... Anyway the coat has a leathery look to it, green cuffs, gold buttons and buckle. It''s a very useful accessory to use with other figures s well. The hat has the Hydra logo on it. I thought this figure itself was pretty cool, but with the added accessories he's way cooler.
He also comes with a Cosmic Cannon. It's the same weapon that came with the Captain America The First Avenger Dark Threat Hydra Soldier. This figure only comes with two "fire" projectiles though.
Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, wrist swivel, waist rotation, ball hinge hips, thigh swivel and double jointed knees. The lower part of his uniform restricts leg articulation so he can only stand around.
Comparison shots. It looks like this will be my new display Red Skull.
Great figure. If you don't have the Marvel Universe Invaders Set Red Skull figure, you should get this one. And then you can send me the coat. Lol. Thanks for viewing!
