Iron Man 3 Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 42

I was very surprised that wave 2 of the Iron Man Marvel Legends was available at a local speciality shop. I didn't think these would be available till at least June or July. Fourtunately for me I was able to get a set. I only got them yesterday but I know you'll like to see all the images so I worked till early morning taking pics. All posts of wave 2 and of Iron Monger will be up shortly so keep checking back! I'll add the text later.

- Nice looking figure, great sculpt. Nice panel detail.
- The chest reactor is just a sticker. Mine's got dirt on it though...
- I personally don't like the dominant gold colours.
- The paint is poor, especially the gold areas of the limbs. It does not properly cover where it's supposed to and spills onto the red areas. There's also a number of places with flaking and paint rubs. There's tiny shiny sparklies in the red areas which is nice.

He's got great articulation. There's a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, double jointed elbows, wrist swivel and hinge, torso pivot, ball hinge hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down very well. The shoulder pads are flexible so he can still raise his arms. The bit of armour at the back of his hands are quite stiff and they restrict him from flexing his hands outwards for flight poses. You can position it but it'll get pushed back after awhile. He can arch back and also tilt his body to the sides well.

Comparison shots. It's taller than the Mark VI.

Great figure. Thanks for viewing!

The new Marvel Iron Man 3 Toys by Hasbro are available at Toys'R'Us and major department stores.
