Marvel Legends Red She-Hulk (Hulkettes)

Happy New Year all! The year has only just begun and already there are new figures on the pegs. I was very surprised that the new wave of Marvel Legends is out. A big thanks to a friend for picking them up for me! Red She-Hulk is up first.

Only three figures are needed to build this wave's BAF. That being Hit Monkey. The body and legs are packaged with Red She-Hulk. I can't help but feel a little disappointed. I'm fine with the smaller BAF but if three figures can hold one BAF, maybe we should have gotten another BAF in this wave. The other figures in this wave not pictured on the back of the card are Ultimate Captain America, X-Force Wolverine and Archangel.

So here's Red She-Hulk. It's a great looking figure. I think shes got a very nice body. Its a little hard to make out the muscles on her limbs but its there. She's a bit leggy but thats how the character is. The headsculpt is okay. Her hair is quite stiff but its still flexible enough for her to turn her head. The figure was made with a smooth, shiny kind of plastic. Also gloss paint was used on her costume. Hence theres a lot of light reflection . She doesn't look as bad as in some of the images. Think of the light as gamma glow. Lol.

She comes with a huge sword. A dull metallic paint was used for the red areas. She can only hold the sword in her right hand. Her grip of it is loose. Having her hold it near the blade makes it a little more secure as the handle there is thicker.

Articulation. Shes got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, torso pivot, ball hinge hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look down really well but not up due to her hair. The knee joints are quite loose on my figure. Posing her was very frustrating as she kept falling.

Comparison with She-Hulk. I think Red She-Hulk is supposed to be shorter so her height is just right.

Here are comparisons with other characters.

Right, that's all for now. Thanks for viewing!
