Thor Movie Series 6" Thor

Finally, some new Marvel 6" figures. No, its not available locally as far as I know.

This is a really nice figure. Good proportions. The head may seem longish, but thats just the helmet. Its got a good likeness to Chris Hemsworth. Great detail on his armour and clothes. The patterned black areas on his torso look like chain mail while the bumpy blue areas look like tough hide. His pants are leather like and the seams and stitches can be seen. Paint application is pretty good, a minor gripe is he's got some flesh on his helmet. Would have preferred if the helmet was silver instead of dark gray. His boots are shiny black.

Close-up of his head and torso. There's some hair underneath his helmet at the side of his face. The facial hair was pretty well done. My figure seems to have had a snack off screen though. You can also make out a little patch growing just below his lips.  The cape is stuck on better than the 3.75" versions. I feel that the bright blue stripes on his collar are out of place. Think a matching blue with his armour, red or black would have been better.

Like the flowy cape, but its pretty stiff and too long. Its touching the ground and it hinders posing.

Articulation. The head can rotate and look up and down. Shoulders have ball and hinge joints. There's bicep swivel, double jointed elbows and wrist swivel. Torso pivot, it can be rotated fully and he can bend forwards and lean backwards slightly. Hips have ball and hinge joints. There's upper thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankles have swivel and hinge.

Not taking the helmet wings into acount, he's half a head shorter than the MS Thor and SDCC ML Thor. He's half a head taller than the Walmart ML Thor.

He's stands more than half a head above Iron-Man. I think its okay. Hulk needs to be taller.

Right, that's all for now, but before I go, here's an exclusive deleted scene from the movie.
