Avengers 6" All-Stars Spider-man, Captain America, Iron Man & Hulk

From the well articulated figures to the scarcely articulated ones. I'll get back to the Captain America Marvel Legends soon. For now I'll like to show you some new purchases. The Avengers 6" All Stars figures.

The figures do not come in any packaging. They just have tags attached from their backs.

There are four figures in this first wave. They are rotocast. They stand okay with hands by the side but will fall if their hands are extended out. All except the Hulk that is.

Of the four I like Spider-man the best. He's got a classic look about him. The lines of his costume and logos were sculpted. The paint application is great.

Captain America is in the Marvel NOW! costume. He looks a little off as he's missing some paint detail. What paint he has was well applied. He has lots of sculpted detail. His shield is of a good size. There's also some sculpted detail on the inside of it.

Iron Man looks blocky, especially the thighs and legs. The head sculpt is nice though. I like the shade of shiny gold paint and red. He's missing some paint on the back of his suit but I'm not bothered by it as much as with Cap.

Like Spidey, Hulk has a classic look about him. He's not overly muscular. There's some sculpted veins on his arms and feet. The head sculpt is okay. I think he could use a different facial expression. He looks a little awkward.  That's just a minor issue though. The main issue with him is his height. He's short.

Articulation. Spidey, Cap and Hulk have neck rotation, peg shoulders and waist rotation.

Iron Man has neck rotation, peg shoulders and upper torso rotation.

Comparison shots. They stand slightly shorter than their Marvel Legends counterparts.

I think they look decent enough. They'll make nice decoration. I'll probably put them on my desk. With these I have no fear of other people fiddling with them. Lol. Thanks for viewing!

Marvel Legends Infinite Series A.I.M Soldier

Some henchmen get their turn in the spotlight.

It's hard to mistake the A.I.M soldier. He's very recognisable thanks to his "beekeeper's" helmet and all yellow suit. The figure is an excellent representation of one. He's got a great head sculpt. The visor of his helmet is fantastic. All those tiny dots on the visor were sculpted.  The body has lots of great detail. You can make out the suit's texture and there's many folds of material in it. Even the buttons have the four holes where the thread goes. He wears a belt across his chest. On it are several pouches and grenades.

He comes with a rifle and pistol. Both have nice sculpted detail on them.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot.

For henchmen and soldier type figures I try to have at least two. He's proving very hard to find. A big thanks to a friend for helping me get another one!

Comparison shots. He stands slightly taller than most normal sized characters and looks bigger due to his helmet.

Great figure. MODOK finally has some help. Thanks for viewing!

Marvel Legends Infinite Series Baron Zemo (Soldiers of A.I.M)

Happy Lunar New Year! It's been quite a busy few days and I finally have some time to get back to the toys. Baron Zemo has been kept waiting and he's not too happy...

This figure is a welcome update of Baron Zemo. I prefer this look over the Toy Biz version. He's labelled as a Soldier of A.I.M on the package. I can't recall if he ever worked with them. He's got a great head sculpt. I like the subtle creases in his mask. The lines on it were sculpted in and were pretty well painted. The body uses the Bucky Captain America base body. He has on a shoulder gun holster. It was done very well. There's nice detail in the straps, buckles and holster covers. The letter Z was sculpted on both holsters so you know that they're his. The guns are not removable unfortunately. The belt was nicely done too. The "skirt" portion is flexible enough to not restrict leg articulation too much.

The shoulder gun holsters and the belt can be removed.

Accessories. He comes with a sword and handgun. The sword is stiff. and has an nice circle design on the guard.

He can carry the sword on his belt. It fits tightly into the loop.

The handgun is unique. It has a pattern design on the handle. I don't know if he ever used such a gun. It looks more like something Kraven would carry.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

I love the accessories. There are several characters on the same base body who we can use them on.

Comparison shots.

Great figure. Thanks for viewing!
